The Menil Collection is in its final week of two outstanding exhibits of works by Rene Magritte: The Mysteries of the Ordinary and Memories of a Voyage. I had a wonderful time viewing them both today. I've discovered two new (to me) favorites.

Rene Magritte's works are unique and beautiful on their own. They inspire students of arts to look on something and make them special. His approach to surrealism is unmatched and stands the test of time. Painters and would-be painters can definitely learn a lot from him in terms of style and technicalities. I hope more painters would adopt witticism and thought-provoking art like he did.

Can I simply just say what a relief to find somebody who really knows what they are talking about on the web. You definitely realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. A lot more people ought to look at this and understand this side of the story. I can't believe you're not more popular because you most certainly have the gift.
