Last fall I had the idea to document the creation of one of my artworks in real time. No editing. Just straight forward. The process as it is. Not glamorous @ all. It was a six week journey that ended in a finished painting. The cool thing was the way my original idea morphed into something that was visually much different, but, I feel, somehow better conveyed the emotional intent. I have only recently begun to download these to YouTube. I am having so much fun exploring the relationships between geometry, biology, color and space. Here's a recent example of a 4"W x 6"H #2 pencil and colored pencil drawing I call "Petree (Petri), Poo, Pickle...Color Changes Everything." Letting my inner nerd sense of humor run wild. ;-)
