12"H x 15"W (floater framed) Mix Media on Paper $495.00 Good Evening Art Lovers, Well, if you are anything like me the period between the beginning of the pandemic and where we are now has been some kind of surreal blur. In some ways it was kind of a nesting period. In other ways, a time of reflection. I can tell you that I have been very active creatively the last few months, but once again am guilty of not posting photos. (BAD artist! BAD!!!) I bought some new lighting equipment and fired off shots of three of my 2D pieces. I will post them below. I have some other works on paper that I REALLY love and have them framed, but I'm getting some wierd reflections on the glass, so I'll try to get some better shots this week. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these Mix Media works... "What is Life? "

Just wanted to take a moment to show off the latest additions to my VIDA store. Maximus Profile Painting can be found on pillows, glassware, bamboo coasters and stationary. I am really proud of this work. It has so many layers and I think it would make a striking addition to any home. I spent over 2 hours grooming Maximus for this photo. After I shot the portrait I uploaded it to my computer and digitally painted it. Now you can own it, too! Click here to see more designs. Hi Everyone! I am going to be at Mistletoe Market as a vendor representing both PetProductDelivery.com and STUTZ Studiowerks. This event takes place Saturday, November 9th from 10:00a. to 3:00p. @ the Giammalva Raquet Club in Spring, TX. My booth will be filled with plenty of eco-friendly pet toys, collars and leashes, and holiday themed healthy pet treats. I will also have my original drawings and paintings of our animal friends on display. Mark your calendars then come on out and join the fun. There will be plenty to see and do!
Hi Everyone! Shame on me for taking 10 months to update this blog. There's an old saying about "When Life Gets in the Way..." But, the reality is that chaos has taken over and my priorities are askew. My disabled son moved in a couple of years ago and while I am grateful that he is alive and that I have this opportunity to help him I have, in the process, dropped the ball on my own Life. There is really never any excuse for that. So, while I can give you a list of fires I have been putting out, the Truth is that I have neglected the beautiful Life the Creator gave me while taking on numerous (and not delegating) tasks and thereby have neglected You, the viewer and art lover. Without further explaination, here are a couple of updates you might be interested to learn about: Diva the Labrador Retriever Over the course of the early summer, I completed a portrait of a beloved pet belonging to someone that used to go to our local church. She has since moved up north and the portrait has been shipped and is hanging on the wall of her new home. She says she is very happy with it. Let me know what you think! This portrait is one of many I have done over the years. They are usually mixed media including, in this case, Crayola crayons, colored pencils, #2 pencil, graphite and acrylic paint. I also like to use Sharpie markers, India ink and sometimes collage and computer alteration. This particular portrait was straight up only 5 mediums. If you like this portrait and would like one (or more) of your own beloved fur-friend, just let me know. Prices run anywhere from 50.00 to 150.00 unframed for an 8"x10" on paper and 150.00 to 250.00 framed. Prices go up for paintings, larger sizes on paper, collages and digital mixed media work. I wanted to show the portait of Diva the Labrador Retriever both before and after framing to give you an idea of how that might look for you. More Designs on my VIDA Online Store So, I may have neglected blogging, but I have somehow managed to continue being creative in the last several months. One of the things I have really enjoyed is bringing a new digital design to my VIDA store that I call Midnight Desert Flowers. If you've been on my VIDA store and followed me on social media for awhile, you may remember that last summer I decided to only showcase products made in the U.S.A., because the products that were outsourced took too long to get manufactured and then shipped to clients. After all, none of the products are created until you order them. This prevents waste and insures that VIDA can provide jobs as well as learning opportunities to those folks that work in far away places. However, this year I broke that practice. Why? Because, some items that are produced overseas are of such superior quality that, well, I wanted them! Here are a list of three of my personal favorites... LEATHER ZIP-AROUND WALLET ARTWORK: Midnight Desert Flowers DESIGNED BY: STUTZ Studiowerks | The Woodlands, United States A sophisticated wallet cut from genuine smooth leather and printed with original VIDA art opens up to reveal currency pockets and slips to accommodate up to 8 cards. $115.00 USD STATEMENT BAG ARTWORK: Midnight Desert Flowers DESIGNED BY: STUTZ Studiowerks | The Woodlands, United States The VIDA Statement Bag, featuring bold, vivid prints, complete with genuine cow-hide leather straps, leather base, and trims, is the most coveted VIDA accessory of the year. Accessorize with this bag for a statement look that turns heads and sparks conversations - around town or across the world. $95.00 USD LEGGINGS ARTWORK: Midnight Desert Flowers DESIGNED BY: STUTZ Studiowerks | The Woodlands, United States Full-length leggings: a staple in any wardrobe. Soft and comfortable with a four-way stretch, they're perfect for after work, yoga or weekend errands. $75.00 USD Of course, I have many other artworks and products on my VIDA store. If you like what you see, just click the photos above and they will take you right to that product page and from there you can navigate all around my store. Also, each product page gives details about the artwork, where the item is manufactured and the social and environmental causes that benefit when you purchase one of these beautiful, wearable, useable artworks. Seriously, the Leggings are better and more comfortable than Spanx. I get compliments on them every time I wear them and they've been machine washed and dried more times than I can tell you. I use the Leather Zip-Around Wallet everyday and the Statement Bag holds everything I need to get through the day including my At-A-Glance Planner. I would be lost without my bag! The quality is better than any products I have ever purchased online.
I want to thank you all for sticking with me these many years and I also want to thank the kind, loving people that not only support my artistic endeavors, but have also supported my family and I through some really bumpy spots. Many Blessings to You and Yours! STUTZ Well, the holidays are right around the corner, so I've been busy making some very giftable items for my VIDA studio. I'm stepping away from some of my digitally created or heavily altered work for a few of these pieces. Just letting the beauty of nature speak for itself. Original photographs shot by yours truly.
