Solstice greetings, Everyone! Just finished uploading a video on YouTube about a little drawing I've been working on for about the last month. Check it out:
https://youtu.be/SBKYzSA4yd4 I had fun posting photos of my progress on LinkedIn. Here are some of the photos that I shared showing my progression every few days. This is a simple 4"x6" drawing executed with #2 pencil and colored pencils.

Visit them on Facebook @themarkettimelessdesigns Currently, I have several beautiful shadow boxes there as well as digital mix media works on ampersand boxes and paintings on canvas. I have been creating a series of 6 small floral paintings on board over the last couple of weeks. I want to keep the look primitive and bright, so working one solid color @ a time with no blending. This means all six have to dry completely before adding the next color. Thought it might be interesting to post a few of the steps before posting the completed works. These are little artworks...only 5"Wx7"H each...acrylic on board.
The last couple of months I have experienced a flurry of creative activity. Here are some examples of work I've completed, one from each category: digital, drawing, painting. Brewster County c. Last fall I had the idea to document the creation of one of my artworks in real time. No editing. Just straight forward. The process as it is. Not glamorous @ all. It was a six week journey that ended in a finished painting. The cool thing was the way my original idea morphed into something that was visually much different, but, I feel, somehow better conveyed the emotional intent. I have only recently begun to download these to YouTube. I'll post them here as they become available, but if you'd like notification sooner, you may want to subscribe to my YouTube channel: STUTZ Studiowerks
Thanks for watching. Your comments are always appreciated. I am having so much fun exploring the relationships between geometry, biology, color and space. Here's a recent example of a 4"W x 6"H #2 pencil and colored pencil drawing I call "Petree (Petri), Poo, Pickle...Color Changes Everything." Letting my inner nerd sense of humor run wild. ;-)
